Ibe just bought a new fender and the strap locks they supplied are useless. Not enought thread to even begin tightening the nut ro sexure to the strap. Do schaller locks work with the existing fender pins installed on my bass?

I tried this a couple of times when I was young and immediately noticed a pull on the neck that affected the intonation. No thanks. I never typically played acoustics onstage, but at home I either just play them while sitting, or attach an appropriate button in the heel area.

There's another better way. Buy a leather button headstock adopter. Much more secure than a knotted string and way more attractive

I'm afraid that might put too much pressure on the neck and possibly damage it. Maybe it wouldn't be a problem... I don't know.

Unfortunately it holds the guitar in the wrong place. For most of us, a second button (attached below the neck heel) works better. But this is definitely worth a try, especially if you don't want to modify your guitar.

D'addario make a clip attachment you can buy that means you can also unhook the strap nice and easily and reattach ot without having to redo the string. I call it my guitar seatbelt

RETARDED DESIGN, im installed schallers.. takes 2 seconds, that stupid clip dunlop uses is so hard to put on lol u need 2 people, schallers all u need is a allan wrench and thats it not pliers, wrenchs and all this bs and on top of that s locks slide out, the u gotta press and lift lol.. i should of spent the extra 20$
